Does it count?

I really want to start working out but I just can’t seem to stick to it. For example I did this two week workout plan and I enjoyed the after workout rush but, it got really boring after awhile so I ended up failing. Then I started a thirty day one and I ended up completing the first week but same problem. Now I find that I have more fun learning difficult dance choreography’s or dancing in heels more than I like working out but I just don’t think dancing loses enough weight. But I guess what I’m asking is, does dancing everyday for around an hour help as a substitute for working out? I don’t wanna sit around doing nothing just because I get bored easily?
