How do you know if you peed or if your water broke?

I went to the washroom today and it was like the longest wee ever, and when ever I sneeze I end up leaking a little 
Pregnant with twins 21 weeks

Stick a pad on and see if it gets wet over a few hours. It's not uncommon to pee a little when you sneeze in pregnancy though, it happens a lot.

I felt a pop down there and then when squatted or moved around fluid came out involuntarily. Also pretty powerful contractions started soon after.

I never heard a pop or anything when mine broke and it’s wasn’t a big amount either.  mine was small amounts that I couldn’t  hold in. Kind of like when you sneeze and pee a little but it was constant.  And it also smelled sweet. 
put a pad on and if it’s soak after an hour I would go to L&D and get checked out.

You will know, it will be a large amount and you can't control and will feel warm. My water was broken and I was leaking till I gave birth 🤷🏼‍♀️.

Check to see if it smells like pee, or if it smells sweet next time it happens
I know sometimes it's hard to tell when your farther along!
