My husband has been very vocal about wanting to name our first son after his father. Originally the name we settled on would be William “Liam” James since James is my husband and William is his father.

I just found out my cousin is having a little man and is naming him Liam James.

My husband really likes the name Anders and keeps advocating for Anders William. I don’t think it flows nicely, and my older brother is named Andrew “Andy” he passed away when I was 18. I’m concerned with the name Anders people would eventually call him Andy and I don’t think I can handle that.

Does anyone have a nickname for a first name Anders that isn’t Andy?
