Implantation ?

So,  I'm currently on day 27 of my cycle and 8 DPO. AF is due next Wednesday. But this whole week I've had slight cramping. I don't usually start cramping until 2-3 days before AF is due. So I'm thinking this cramping is too early to be AF symptoms. Could this be implantation ?
