Best formula...best results?

Question

First time mom here. 👋🏻
I’m due in early December so I have quite a bit of time left to research but I would really like to hear from other moms about their success stories with specific formulas and why they worked for their babies the best...also formulas to definitely avoid (and what reason you found). I know a lot has to do with your baby specifically, but I would love some tips and insight. 
I plan to exclusively formula feed...so if you fed a specific type directly after birth for a specific reason I would love to know about it also.

Hospitals will give similac unless you take your own and it’s really good but if you are planning on using wic they give enfamil. My son did really good on similac proadvance but it’s really expensive. Start off with regular formula and if you’re noticing any fussiness or anything call the pediatrician they might recommend a gentle ease or sensitive. Enfamil only does gentle ease tho. All the same thing to be honest. It feeds your baby. Keeps their bellies full. But I noticed my son is hungrier on enfamil than similac sensitive. I don’t know why....

(With my second) Similac pro advance made my daughter spit up and Similac for spit ups didn't help but also made her constipated. We get wic and when she started getting formula from them they gave us Gerber. She used Gerber soothe (I believe that's the name) it worked really well. They switched to Enfamil and she's on Enfamil gentlease and hasn't had any problems. 
With my first (almost 12) I tried 6 different ones before using emfamil AR. I don't remember all the ones we tried but I remember that Similac was the worst one.

I breastfed mine but definitely did research just in case. 
I know a lot of moms say they prefer the formula with probiotics (helps their digestion) so you might want to consider that. 
I’d also try to stick to nonGMO and organic products if possible. But hays just a personal preference.

Similac was the only one that wouldn’t upset his stomach. We got a Costco membership in order to get the bigger containers for like $30

We tried similar pro advance as that’s what the hospital gave her, made her constipated. Then we tried similar pro sensitive, made her have gas pains. Tried enfamil gentlease, made her have gas pains as well as constipated. Then finally we tried enfamil reguline, no gas pains or constipation.
