Anyone else doing cloth nappies ?

First time mum and the first one in my family to even attempt it, everyone has turned their nose up at it and family are convinced that they “won’t be doing it, and will buy their own disposable nappies when they baby sit” 
Someone give me some wise words of encouragement and maybe some pictures of their own stash? 😁

I love to sew and I love the colors/prints of cloth diapers. I would love to make my own. I wish I could tolerate the cleaning of them. Love your stash!

They were great with my daughter I will use disposable for the first month or so and do the swap to cloth (after all the gross poops lol), they are a little more work but essentially super easy to care for! 
I'll be having a boy so hopefully it goes well with him

I’m really excited to cloth diaper as well. Got these second hand during my first pregnancy but unfortunately lost that little one at 11 weeks. Little did I know that my rainbow stash was meant for our rainbow baby girl 💓🌈

I’m doing both. My plan is to use disposables for the first month and for when not at home. But for sleeping and when at the house I will use cloth.

How exactly are they washed? Somehow I can’t imagine how to get them thoroughly clean. Or is there something inside?

My mother used them and I wish I could too. But we live in an apartment building and share washers and dryers with all the neighbors...
Soo its not going to work out for us with this baby 😭

I use the velcro ones as poppers were a bit tricky once my son started to roll and crawl. I'm planning to use them again with baby number 2. My son uses them mainly during the day and we use disposable ones at night.

I did with my first part time while at home. It is addicting... All those cute diapers!

I like the idea of it but for us it really isnt saving any money.  But as far as environmental it is great.      Just not for us
