When does the 3rd trimester start ?

Each trimester is about 13 weeks, so trimester 1 ends at 12 w 6d, trimester 2 starts at 13 weeks and ends at 26w6d and then third trimester starts at 27weeks

Every pregnancy app says different! This one said at 26 weeks was the beginning and others say 27/28 So I found this chart and have just been following this one since the beginning!

My doctor goes by 28 weeks. And why do they keep changing your due date? After 12 weeks babies grow at different rates so size isn’t necessarily a good indicator of exact due date. The dating scan is most accurate

I’m going with 28 even though I have seen 27 or 28 but I think my doctor goes by 28.
