My husbands grandma wants to visit around thanksgiving (due date is oct 3rd). This is fine but I’m concerned about her picking something up in the airport.

I’ve read that as long a person changes their clothes and showers they should be fine. However what if she catches something before she’s symptomatic? My cousins baby got RSV at 6 weeks from someone with a cold.

My father in law told me I can’t keep him in a bubble and I’m pretty offended by that because I’m not a germaphobe, I grew up in the country, but a 2 month old infants immune system is not very developed.

Honest question, am I being unreasonable for being concerned or should I be more concerned?
