Do you give your lo a sippy of water to keep in the crib?

I keep thinking maybe my lo gets thirsty (as I do) in the middle of the night and wakes up

Answer

I personally don't because my daughter won't take it, but my pediatrician recommended it for my nephew (we have the same pediatrician), and he recommended it for my LO as well. He said sometimes they wake up and having that little drink of water helps them go back to sleep. He said sometimes it just gives them something to do other than cry (during sleep training and regressions). I've seen it recommended on different sites to help with night weaning too. So i think it's fine!
