I’m such a whimp and turned down getting a membrane sweep today. She was checking for dilation which is always super uncomfortable for me and before I even processed what she asked I said “ow”, she pulled her hand out and that was it.

I’m only 1 1/2cm dilated and 50% effaced and just over this pregnancy (this is my second). I originally wanted an elective induction between 39-40 weeks but I’m not favorable. Now I just go back to waiting yet again and the anticipation is driving me insane and making me super emotional.
