My son is extremely... I hate to say difficult but that's the only way to describe him. He didn't sleep on his own until 7 months, didn't sleep through the night until 9 months, never wanted to be put down until he figured out he could walk or let me baby wear beforehand. Now he's 2 and I feel like he's more difficult than the average 2 year old. Constantly throws EVERYTHING when he gets the slightest bit upset, hits a lot (which we are working on), will not sit still to save his life when we go out and has always been difficult to handle in public since he was born. I know all kids can be this way but I feel like he's worse than average. My sister has a son 6 months younger and he's so well behaved and I know I shouldn't compare, but it's so frustrating when we go out with her and her 4 kids are easier to deal with than my 1.

Point of the post is, we are ttc our 2nd and both of us are kind of worried that our next one will be the same way but I've heard a wives tale that if your first is difficult then your 2nd will be easier and vice versa. Also have heard easy pregnancy, difficult child and vice versa which I believe because I had the easiest pregnancy ever with him except for heartburn and a pinched nerve in my upper back and my best friend had a very terrible pregnancy and her son is so easy going.

Idk, just looking to see if it holds true for anyone.
