My partner and I have been engaged for 1.5 years but have yet to make any wedding plans. Our ideal wedding would be the two of us eloping, Just the two of us and our son.

But I’ve mentioned this to my family in the past and been guilt tripped into inviting them and having a small wedding.

I know they would be really upset and I love them dearly, but I honestly don’t want a wedding, I really just want to elope with my fiancé.

How can I go about this without upsetting my family too much? Xx
