So confused and kinda upset

I had to go to a maternal fetal medicine doctor because I'm having twins and my first baby was born premature. Well this doctor says ur babies dont have lips, given this was at 18 weeks. When I had my first trimester anatomy scan, the tech said they have everything. How am I supposed to react to this? I'm confused and know as a mother, my baby girls do have their facial features. Has anyone dealt with this before?
