Sometime last night or early this morning our Albino Cory catfish died. 😞 We has him for 4 almost 5 years. I’ve never cried over a dead fish until this morning.

I loved that fish so much! He would swim really fast and pop up out the top of the tank and then go back to the bottom to hide. He really loved attention.

When I first bought him I has a peppered Cory catfish friend for him, their original names was Bonnie and Clyde. My daughter who just turned 3 when we got them kept calling him Bernie instead of Bonnie (we don’t know the gender) so it kind of stuck with us! She is now 7 almost 8 years old.

Today we flush my favorite fish! The tank will not be the same without him.

I know it’s silly to be this upset over a fish. 😂 Till next time Bernie!
