So I’ve had a UTI in the past (one) and what I’m experiencing now is a little similar but not quite.

I was out of town traveling for two weeks and while I was out I had my period. When I returned (Saturday) me and my boyfriend had sex once a day for three days (Sat, Sun, Mon). Yesterday evening I started feeling a little off, I had stomach pains that just turned out to be gas. Later on into the night, probably around 8:30pm/9pm I went to the bathroom and had a little bit of a tickling/tingling sensation when I urinated and when I wiped I noticed blood spotting. Never having dealt with the blood spotting I went into immediate panic mode.

We went and took a pregnancy test (which was a bit early, but it put my mind at ease) and it came back negative.

I’m going to take a UTI test today but I wanted to ask if anyone else has had spotting when having a UTI? My last UTI was extremely painful but I never had spotting before.
