Problems with birth control

I was taking the pill for over a year and repeatedly had thrush, and it was awful. When I stopped taking the pill my thrush stopped. Now I am on the injection, which I was told would prevent reoccurring thrush. I now have really bad thrush again. Any help or advice on what to do, or tips on preventing thrush? Thank you
