When to BD after trigger shot?!

I took clomid days 3-7 and today, cd 11, I had 2 mature follies, 22/23 mm, so my doctor gave me an injection of pregnyl (trigger shot). She said to have sex in 24 and 36 hours. Does that mean I shouldn’t have sex tonight too? Will it make that much of a difference? My husbands SA is normal. I feel like waiting 24 hours is risky if the egg is released 24-36 hours after trigger.
Anyone have any success with trigger shots? Can you give any insight on when to BD?

Sounds just like me. I had a scan done at 10 days had 1 mature follicle and one that was almost there, I triggered the following morning (ovidrel), at 10:15am. I was on Clomid CD 3-7. I triggered last Friday, the 12. I bd the night of my trigger and the following 2 nights. I go in on Monday to have my progesterone levels checked, and the following Monday to have my HCG levels drawn. It’s going to be hard but I’m going to wait for the Dr to check my HCG levels and not test at home. This two week wait it very long, but hey I’m almost done with the first week!!! I’ve just been trying to stay as busy as possible. I’m really hoping and praying that this is the month we conceive. This is my first ever medicated cycle.

I’m in a very similar boat, had my Pregnyl trigger shot 10000iu earlier today after taking a combined cycle of clomid 150 + Femara 7.5. My doctor told me to bd tonight, tomorrow and then every other day until cd 21!
