I got this to replace a much smaller backpack we were using. I love it! My 3 year old usually likes to take a few toys along too. I usually always have snacks, water bottles, a spare outfit and pjs (I keep them in quart size bags to keep it organized), extra undies, a pull up, first aid kit, plus my wallet and planner and there’s still lots of room. I just know it will still be great for when baby #2 arrives as well. I specifically wanted a backpack with the side wipe pocket too, which is awesome because I can reach around for a wipe without even taking the bag off (note: I don’t use the small wipe container it came with though, I can fit a whole pack of wipes in the pocket just fine). Also needed something dad wouldn’t mind carrying either. The straps are padded so it’s comfy and doesn’t dig into your shoulders when it gets heavy. Highly recommend this backpack

I use a skip hop backpack for both. Fits enough bottles, sippy cup and snacks...  a tablet my wallet  change of clothes and the basics.... my toddler carries whatever toys she wants, if anything  more she uses her skip hop backpack(leash one without the cord)
