Help! My son will be 9 months old tomorrow and isn’t crawling yet. He is just scooting backwards as you can see in the video. Should I be worried? What types of things did you do to encourage crawling for your peanuts? Thanks!

Mine is the same. She scoots on her butt a little too. Mostly in circles. Lol some kids skip crawling all together. I don't think it's anything to worry about.

My baby girl has been doing that, and crawling on her hands and knees backwards for weeks and yesterday she finally got it. Only did a few paces and stopped but tonight? She was racing from one side of the house to the other and is suddenly pulling herself up and using whatever she can as a push along walker!

Normal! Mine was doing this for 2/3 weeks now he is crawling at 8.5  months. I tried to put him on his hands and knees to encourage him to crawl and he finally figured it out.

If you're concerned I would say get your baby adjusted by a pediatric chiropractor! A lot of the time they have a misalignment in their pelvis which makes it hard for them to move as easily as they would like. I see it a lot in my office and we get great results!

My daughter would always scoot backwards. I would lay things that grabbed her attention a few inches away. The more she grabbed it, the further away I would move it and that got her scooting forward. She started crawling maybe a month later.
