Behind every police officer is a family who doesn’t know whether they will make it home. It doesn’t natter if it’s their dad, brother, sister, mom, cousin, etc. Hold your siblings and family a little bit longer because I am one of those family members who don’t know whether the next time i will see my brother is in a casket or at family dinner. Every time i tell him I love him before his shift I have to worry that it could be my last.
