Calling all the moms out there🗣🗣
Hey, I just wanted some advice and to know what you ladies look for in child care. I’m 18 been certified to babysit children for over 7 years now. I decided I wanted to be my own boss and start a little daycare, but I’m having trouble finding parents who need childcare. I’m on Care.com and Sittercity religiously and applying for any jobs that would fit my schedule. Furthermore I am babysitter certified, CPR&AED, have my Lifeguard certification, and I’m currently taking an EMT course. When applying I’m sure to include all of my certifications but also reminding the parents that I have experience with multiples, special needs children and premature infants. I can handle potty training, teaching young children little things like colors, shapes, sign language as communication, and so much more. When I get an interview, they come to my home, and I greet them make conversation and I’ve even created folders that contain an info packet (my mission and services, resume, references, background information, and a price list that covers every service I offer even discounts and promos) and a few business cards that I think are so cute. After all of that a tour and the positive feed back they give me they choose someone else for the job. I’m asking you ladies what else should I do to secure the job?
