Contractions on 1 side?

I am 41+3, woke up to immense pressure in my pelvis, I thought I just had to pee but it didn’t help. Laid down & did pass some gas which helped alleviate it somewhat but for the past hour now I’ve been having really painful contractions but they’re only deep down on the left side of my pelvis? My stomach clenches up everyone I have them but the pain is only deep in my pelvis on that one side 🤔 They’re getting stronger & wont go away when I switch positions. Anyone else have these type of contractions & did they turn out to be the real deal? Been having sooo many false alarms in the past week 🙄🤦🏻‍♀️
