I take the pill, but this month I have had my period twice.

Hey ladies. My name is Maja I am 19 years old and a diagnosed pcos patient. To help alleviate my pco I have started taking the pill because according to my doctor it helps to make my period more regular. However I have recently had my period about a week ago and since yesterday I am having it again, is this normal or should I go to the doctors?
