I had my mirena removed July 15th, 2019 and it was the best decision I’ve ever made. I first got it August 2016 , 6 weeks after I had my 2nd son and the first 6 months was alright and then boom it hit me everything started to occur such as BV that sent me to he doctor 8 times, weight gain which included me always being hungry and bloated, cramps from hell, I bled two years straight and every time I had sex it’s like the mirena was triggered because I instantly bled etc. I have two children and enough is me so now I’m getting my tubes tied. Now that I have my mirena removed I feel so relieved because you know birth control messes up your body. When I got the mirena inserted I felt cramps but to me personally getting it removed it hurt even worse. Now that I no longer have it my periods are heavy and I mean blood clots. What birth control do you ladies have ?
