Depo shot feedback??

Hi I’m going to my Gyno in August to see if I could be put on the Depo shot. Would any of you recommend it? Does it really work? Also, what are some of the side effects? I used to be on the pill and it really messed up my cycle so I stopped. I’m 18 in a serious relationship and I just wanna be SUPER careful! :) Help ya girl out?!?

It made me gain so much weight and gave me terrible skin. I’ve never known anyone to have a positive experience. I swear it’s the devil incarnate. Rebuke that shit

That shot is pure evil! MANY women have issues on that. I had 1 shot and bleed for 4m straight. I gained alot of heavy weight, mood changes and always tired from bleeding so much all the time and alot of women's fertility is ruined. I had several children on my own no problems then that shot and I now have to use clomid to conceive anymore. Definitely stay away from this one there are other options. Try the Nuva ring. (Google or YouTube it)

My only issue was weight gain. I’m probably going to get back on it though as I’m 3 month PP and don’t want to get pregnant again right away.
