Long periods...help?

Question

So I went on birth control and my periods started becoming like 10 days. I told my doctor and she changed my prescription but it still is happening, what should I do? It’s only been two months on the new pill do I wait? My doctor said it takes about 6 months for your period on the pill to be regular. Also it starts the week before the placebo week 🤷🏽‍♀️

okay so your cycles usually change when you’re on birth control, you can get lighter or heavier flows and your cycles can end, get shorter, or get longer. i’d recommend waiting the six months and allowing your body to adjust to the birth control and for your cycles to regulate again, which they more than likely will.
