Letting kids play sports?

Question

How do you feel about letting your kids play certain sports? My son loves football, and also basketball. I love both games and watching him, but it does get a little scary.

Risks are too high in football for me. Other than that, my son can play whatever he wants.

My kids will play whatever their interested in. There's risk with most sports, there's risks in daily life too. Can't put them in a bubble.
My daughter's have done swimming and gymnastics. My oldest wants to start cheerleading and my youngest girl want to do karate.

If I ever have a son he will probably not be allowed to play football. The risk of a concussion and all the problems that we know can come with concussions, it’s just not worth the risk. 
I currently have a 1 yr old daughter that I plan on enrolling in a bowling league an a couple years. Although she might need more than that because whew she has a lot of energy and will need some kind of outlet.

Well I’m a different kinds of football mom im a foutball mom aka soccer lol. It’s pretty aggressive and contact sport it’s self 😂 an we love it . I will foster growth in any sport my children play my girls and my son.

Football is an absolute no for both of my kids. The risks are too great. We don’t watch it anyway. My oldest isn’t really supposed to play any contact sport because one of his kidneys is in the wrong spot and unprotected by his body.
