First baby born after 39 weeks & 4 days! I had my bloody show around 9:30 pm. Approximately 2 hours later my water broke - no contractions. Luckily I was able to jump out of bed in time since it took two large bath sheets to clean up the floor. Got to the hospital within an hour and was admitted. Contractions picked up shortly after. Labor was augmented with the smallest dose of pitocin due to the infection risk after nearly 8 hours of laboring without it. Things picked up from there and our beautiful little girl was born after 14 hours of labor in July 11!
