okay well i’m 15 years old and i’ve like never done anything sexual but over the past like two days it burns when i pee and there’s like blood in the urine, so if it is a uti how would i like tell my mom without it being awkward because we don’t talk about periods and we arentreally that close

just had this same issue. Do you have any sisters? Can you get to the store there is over the counter things that can help but you must read carefully the directions. Blood in urine is not good, if you have this it MAY result in kidney infections as it did me. My mom and i are not close at all but i had to tell her. UTIS happen as a result of many many things. Likely she has had a few herself. Girl, things like this are tough but you need to tell her if it proceeds to get worse like mine did a few weeks ago. Drink nothing but water and cranberry juice. Shower regularly. Wipe only from front to back. Good luck I hope this helps
