31 weeks plus 2 today and was told at midwife yesterday that my fundal height measurements was measuring 32cm so I’ve got to go and have a growth scan on Monday, has anyone had this before? This is my first baby 🙊🙈

That's weird but awesome. 32cm isn't a huge difference. I never get scans when I'm measuring 3 weeks behind lol

I had a growth sono at 36 weeks because my son was measuring in the 94th percentile at his anatomy scan. I figured he had gone through a growth spurt around then because my fundal height was always 1-2 weeks behind, but he was measuring in the 97th percentile at the growth sonogram. The fundal height and sonograms really are a tool to predict the baby’s size and can have a fairly large margin of error. I wouldn’t worry about it and just look at it as another opportunity to see your baby!

I had a growth scan about 5 weeks ago because I was measuring 2 weeks ahead for a while. They were concerned about excess fluid and possibly breech baby. Turns out she’s just a big girl 🤷🏻‍♀️ I was only measuring a week ahead at my appointment yesterday though.

Yep! At 32 weeks I was measuring 34.5 weeks. Got my ultrasound and turns out she’s only about 4 days ahead

I had high blood pressure and extra fluid so I had growth scans every other week starting at 31 weeks. Everything ended up fine and I got to see my baby more than people usually do 🙂

Yep with my second. She was measuring 2 weeks behind, and I had trouble gaining and keeping a healthy weight. She was born at 39+3, weighing 7 lbs 0.9 oz.

I was 2 or 3 cm ahead since about halfway through my pregnancy. Ultrasounds estimated baby was average size throughout my pregnancy though, and my gestational diabetes test was negative. 
Well I gained a total of approx. 65lbs, last ultrasound at 38 weeks estimated baby was 9 pounds, NOPE he was ELEVEN pounds zero ounces. So after 3.5 days of labour they called for c-section and in hindsight we should have just done c-section from the beginning but who’s to know? Ultrasounds are just estimates, he is my first baby and I was really hoping for vagina delivery but so glad it wasn’t now that he turned out to be this big! Lol
Your difference of 1 cm doesn’t seem like that big of a deal though, and it depends what position your baby is in. If baby is sort of sideways and pushing out your front, then that is going to increase your fundal height, whereas other babies might be tucked in further into the back of their moms abdomen resulting in a smaller fundal height.

I’ve been measuring 1week,1 day ahead and my dr doesn’t seem too concerned. Of course that was after the student dr scared the 💩 out of me at my last appointment by saying I was measuring 4 weeks ahead! My dr then came in and remeasured me..and reassured me that I’m only 1 week ahead.
