The worst diarrhea pains you’ve ever felt. The ones that feel like your insides are twisting and you have to sit on the toilet for a half hour shaking in pain praying to poop out the poison and cursing your body for the betrayal. That. But x100. Lmao that being said I’d give birth 100 more times over having my tonsils out ever again.

To me, it feels like an intense ache.  Maybe what frostbite feels like?  The lower the baby is, there’s more pressure and pushing feeling.  My nurse pushed on my knees during transition before I flipped to all fours.  She read that putting pressure there can help alleviate some pain.  I think she’s right.  Plus, delivering on all fours is definitely the way to go.

Like getting squeezed by a vice grip. It didn’t hurt, just felt like a lot of pressure. I made my husband put pressure on my lower back and it diffused the intensity.

Contractions just felt like strong period cramps. Transition and crowning felt like a bursting and burning feeling. But once that happens baby is almost there and it’s the shortest part of birth.

Worst was my first birth- 22 hours of active back labor 90 seconds long and every 2-3 minutes. Felt like my tailbone/hips were going to break. My husband was pressing with all his weight for counter pressure and I barely felt him. 
Second was a piece of cake in comparison. As long as I breathed through them I was fine. I was talking normally between contractions the whole time.

My worst was during transition (I didn’t know it at the time bc it was my first babe, my water didn’t break and  didn’t know I was that far into the process) but on top of the contraction being super uncomfortable and intense I also got incredibly nauseous and thought I was going to throw up (I didn’t) but after that I decided to leave for the hospital and if I didn’t, baby girl probably would’ve made her appearance before I got to the hospital!

Basically like my body was being ripped in half lol. My contractions were coupled basically the whole time, just one on top of another. So it was pretty intense the whole time. Overall manageable but I definitely thought a few of those contractions would kill me 😆

Contractions felt like being squeezed like a tube of toothpaste from top to bottom at first, then progressed to period like cramps..which then got much stronger, and when my laboring turned into back labor that’s when I felt like I was being split open with knives on each side with the worst pain I’ve ever felt in my life..labor with my first lasted 32 hours..10 of it being back labor before I broke down and got an epidural. 😬
