Would you announce at 10 weeks?

We will be 10 weeks Sunday but people have already started asking. We had an appointment today and got to see the baby and the heart rate was 143 and the dr said everything looked great. Just wondering when everyone else announced 😊

I had 2 miscarriages before my son in 2016. I had an ultrasound with him at 5w5d and we announced that day. We would rather have people love and know about our child incase something happened. You announce when you feel comfortable, I don't think it should be anyone else's choice for you.

I waited until 12 weeks because I had a scan the next day and I’m having twins so I wanted to be cautious. But at 10 weeks my doctor said the risk of miscarriage was less than 5%, so I could have announced then confidently.

I have always announced early. Longest I held out with a living child was 7 wks. My last pregnancy I wanted to wait and I don’t know why. I ended up losing that baby at 8 wks. I felt sad because know one was able to be excited with me or love this baby like me. I felt sad we didn’t celebrate that babies life while we could. I also felt alone during the miscarriage. I just found out we are pregnant with our Rainbow baby and I want to tell close friends and family right away so we can celebrate the life we have! Announce publicly once I’m in 2nd trimester.

We don’t have much of a choice, I look VERY pregnant. I usually have a relatively flat stomach so everyone is already calling me out for being pregnant. I’d rather get to announce then announce later and everyone say yeah we already know 🙄😬

I had a miscarriage at 7 weeks last pregnancy. This pregnancy we had an ultrasound at 8 + 5 and I announced at 9 + 3 because our ultrasound looked really good and I just wanted to share my experience even if we had lost this baby. I’m 13 + 2 now and everything is normal!

I had my first appt this past week where we had an ultrasound (9+3) so now I’m planning to announce next week. I’m visiting my grandmother tomorrow to tell her, then the rest of the family. I will tell my bosses Monday and then Facebook Friday after I see a couple good friends because I want to tell them in person.
