My daughter had one, that caused latching issues along with trouble using a bottle but apparently wasn't "severe enough" to fix.

Yes. This is my daughters. Idk why hospitals don’t make that a mandatory check prior to leaving. She struggled so bad with bottles because of it.

Yes it is! My son had one and had to get it cut, didn't realize it till he was almost one, and would have saved us a lot of trouble and stress if the hospital would have caught it when he was born... he had all the symptoms of it and couldn't breastfeed, and I was too dumb to know that's what was wrong 🙈 a couple hours after his surgery he was already drinking and eating better lol
