Late period negative tests. Anyone know what it could be?

You could have ovulated later then you normally do. The I track ovulation threw tests so I know If I'm later then normal. And it does happen from time to time. Sometimes I ovulate a week later then normal. Just retest again once it's been 7days passed.

Today is my 3rd day late and I tested yesterday and it came back negative, but I read that sometimes you won’t get a positive until your 1-2 weeks late

Stress can delay ovulation. Only once I had a 45 day cycle. I didn’t think I was super stressed but being late added stress and thought I was pregnant but I wasn’t. Just 2 or so weeks late on my period..
