What time does baby go to bed for the night?

My 8 week old doesn’t want to go to bed until 11:30-12. Need to move it earlier .... anyone have success doing this or just in A similar boat? The late nights came about partly from a couple weeks of super fussy evenings that would last until about midnight and then we haven’t course corrected.

My 10 week old goes down between 9:30p - 10p and consistently wakes up at 6:30a. Any earlier and she wakes up at sporadic times. I prefer the later bedtime for the longer night sleep time 😁

We start the bedtime routine in hopes of 8:30 reality is more between 11 pm-2:30 am. It's exhausting. I do bedtimes solo during the week also I am the one to get up with a crying baby and I am a stay at home mom. My husband sleeps in the guest room when he has to work so I get run down real fast.

I was just googling about this earlier because I remember with my first that eventually she started going down for the night earlier, but I couldn’t remember when that happens haha. Right now, my son starts his night sleep around 10, but sometimes as early as 9 and sometimes as late as 11. He’ll be 11 weeks tomorrow. According to extensive googling, sometime between 3 and 4 months is when babies start shifting to an earlier bed time. I figure for now I’ll just keep an eye on things and track his sleep a bit and as he settles into more of a predictable sleep time (both for bedtime and nap time) to start building a schedule around that. For now, we’ll just play by his rules because trying to get him to sleep when he doesn’t want to sleep will only end in frustration for me.

My baby is 8 weeks on Tuesday and has been going to bed between 7-8. She gets sooo fussy and is ready for bed by then. I swaddle her and put her in the bassinet and she puts herself to sleep and will usually sleep an 8 hour stretch.

My baby used to sleep at 6pm, two weeks ago made a mistake letting a nanny sleep her while i did some work and she slept at 9pm, the last week was the same thing when i had to do work again and it became 12am now. I am able to return it back to 10pm now, a slow process but it’s doable. You can slowly transition back, just need to be patient.

We've done the same routine since day one, 7 bath time, 7:30 I feed him by 7:45 i put him in his cot (still awake) by 8 he has fallen asleep on his own. He is now 10 weeks old and still doing the same routine.
