Horror books anyone???

I'm obsessed with Stephen king at the moment although it's more thriller and gore. I love horror books since movies have never scared me. 
Why do you like/don't like horror books?

I love Stephen King books. I’m starting to grow my collection of his books and movies. I’ve always been into reading and it started with Goosebumps and Scary Stories To Tell In The Dark books. The horror and thriller genre has always fascinated me. Don’t know why but it has.

I love horror. Stephen King is my favorite. I’m reading Finders Keepers (not horror... more like thriller in my opinion) and it’s so intense at parts that I literally feel like I’m living it. I love his writing!

I loooove horror- both books and movies. For me it’s because I think it’s exciting when it feels like you might be in danger (but you know you aren’t actually). Also, the way psychopaths think has always intrigued me

I absolutely HATE anything scary and get startled quite easily, but I asked my mom is she had read The Pet Cemetary, and she said she cried tears of fear in the first 30 minutes. I read the book (at night, mind you) and I was so confused because for me it wasn't that scary. The REAL scary stuff is Stories to Tell In the Dark. THAT gave me nightmares... but I do love Stephen King. Idk why. Just because he a author.
