pre term labor symptoms ?

i’m 36 weeks and 5 days and for the past two nights i have been feeling pretty moderate to strong contractions along with lighting crotch, nausea and pressure in butt and pelvis. i went to the doctor this past wednesday and i’m 2 cm dilated 70%effaced and baby’s at -2. could i be experiencing pre term labor? tonight’s contractions are closer and stronger than last nights

It wouldn’t technically be pre term labor since you are 36 almost 37 weeks. Keep an eye on your contractions is could be real labor.

36+5 isn’t really classed as preterm labour, it would be early-term, I think?
My prodromal labour started around then with my first, and I still had to get induced with her 😂
Stay hydrated, take a shower/bath and see if that stops them.

How long after having those symptoms did you give birth?? I'm having the exact same symptoms right now! And the last time I was checked was at 27 weeks and I was already almost 2 cm dilated 😩 I'm now 31 weeks and I feel like I've dilated more unfortunately but I don't want to keep getting checked to find out..
