So quick background. My husband and I want to try for another child. We have a small window to try because of work & we start college (graduate school) next fall and I’m not interested in being pregnant during or after school. Unfortunately, when I came off depo in May, my cycle got a little crazy. In fact, I varied from spotting to aggressively bleeding for six weeks. Enough was enough. I went in to see my dr & she ordered labs. Everything looked normal. I requested a pap (it had been 6 years since I had one) so she did that as well, fully expecting everything to come back fine, and all the bleeding related to depo.

But it didn’t. It came back abnormal. There are cells that need to undergo additional testing to determine if they are cancerous. Honestly I didn’t expect this and I’m pretty torn up about it.

I haven’t mentioned it to my husband yet - I should find out more results on Monday & I didn’t want to stress him out (plus it’s his birthday) until I know something more.

It just stinks. Thanks for letting me vent, glow community.
