Back pains

I’m having really bad back pains in the middle of my back and I can’t shake them! They are off and on and has been going on since 4:00pm and it 2:33am. Nothing that I do is easing up my pain I could cry right now Should I go to the er ? I’m 34 weeks and This is my first baby and all this is new to me. Could these be contractions?
