Embarrassed

So I have a doctors appointment on Tuesday where I know I will need a vagina examination. I just have a confirmation it’s a male doctor. I want to cancel my appointment but I know it’s so silly but the thought makes me wanna cry. Is it silly to phone and ask for a female doctor? X
