Progesterone pills???

Question

The doctor prescribed me progesterone to take vaginaly but when I picked up the prescription it was pills?
Has anyone taken these? I think they gave me the wrong form.
Also- it has peanut oil in it! I’m allergic to peanuts!
UPDATE:
I just called the pharmacy and they said their only option is the peanut oil progesterone (WTF!) Does anyone know of a pharmacy that offers something without peanut oil?

My doctor sent the prescription to a compounding pharmacy which is making the progesterone for me (peanut free!)

You need to discuss this with the pharmacist. Don't take it until you speak with them.

Mine are round and pearl white but there is so many different progesterone pills ! Only I wouldn't take these if you're allergic to an ingredient

This is what the vaginal suppositories look like. I’m on them. Mine are more yellow in color...I would talk to the pharmacist about your allergies though. Definitely don’t take something with an ingredient you’re allergic to!

I take crinone which is inserted like a tampon. I got it from a specialty fertility pharmacy and they ran closer to $2000 out of pocket/no insurance

I had to convince my doctor to even prescribe it for me and now I have to ask them to come with another solution!
Pharmacy is CVS. Does anyone have another pharmacy that doesn’t have a peanut oil that they know of??

See if you can call a different compounding pharmacy. Mine are like square wax tablets. Definitely don’t take it if you’re allergic to peanuts!

I get compounded suppositories that are made of amino acids (unsure what oil) they look nothing like that, but those look just like other suppositories I've had vaginal in the past 
Talk to your doc and maybe change your pharmacy? I wouldnt want to deal with a pharmacist like that, I mean.... peanut allergies are so common.

Definitely talk to your Dr and don’t take something you’re allergic to. It won’t help you or the baby. And there are also pharmacies that specialize in fertility and have other children progesterone options. Freedom Pharmacy or Avella Pharmacy. 
I’ve taken progesterone vaginally and it didn’t have oil in it. Also took progesterone shots for 10 wks and had a choice of sesame oil (which I’m allergic to) or olive oil or a synthetic oil. I’ve never heard of progesterone pills you swallow.
