Anyone else FEEL like a single mom? My husband is just so oblivious...love him to death but he doesn't help lol

I don't know how to tell him without hurting his feelings. He's too scared to do anything because she's so little but I feel like he just needs to get over it and help, I'm so sleep deprived! I couldn't sleep even when I was pregnant and I almost feel delirious.. I'm on PFL but still pay my share of the bills and do housework and all doctor appts and 100% of the baby work and take care of my 12 yr old, to and from summer school etc. I need a nice way make him see he I'm doing this alone...

Sometimes I wish they could get pregnant in their dreams and God give them a glimpse of exactly what we go through throughout the entire dream...they wake, kiss us, say sorry, and start doing their part from then on out.....wishful thinking lol!!!!

I haven’t even had my baby’s yet and I already feel like this. We have two dogs. I walk them we he could easily. All the house chores and cooking I do. The biggest thing that makes me want to choke him is when he opens drawers or cabinets or just anything he touches he can’t ever close it or put it back where he got it from. It makes me crazy. 
I tell him. I say things like .. “are these the habits you want to teach our daughter ?” And he will say no and start adjusting his behavior. 
But I know where you’re coming from. I can only imagine how much will be put on my shoulders once our little one arrives. 
You’re going to have to have a heart to heart with him. Maybe he doesn’t even realize what he’s doing. Men can be horribly oblivious!!

Guys need straight. Tell him what you need him to do. Don’t beat around the bush. 9/10 if I ask my husband straight out to do something instead of dropping “hints” or just expecting him to know what to do, he will do it gladly.

Teach him what to do so that he doesn’t feel scared. Literally demonstrate for him without being sarcastic. Act like you’re training an older child how to care for it’s baby sibling. I know it will take time, but if you train him now, you’ll get more sleep sooner.
