When did you take your child to their first movie?

My son is 27 months and I’m wondering if he’s ready. Curious when did you take yours to a movie and were they able to handle?

I took my son for his 3rd birthday. He did okay. Although he did get up a few times. I went to the movie during the week day where I knew a lot of people wouldn’t be there. There was literally only one other person in the theater.

I took my daught at 21 months almost 2 nd she watched nd stayed in my arms for more than half the movie then began to want to walk down the isle nd run around lol so my child is a no no jejeje but u wont know unless u try it

We took our 2 year old to the drive in just a couple weeks ago to watch toy story 4. He did great! I think if it was an actual theater he would have done good once the movie started but the previews would have been hard since I'm sure he would just try to run around.
