Why is my period so heavy

I literally just had to run to the bathroom bc blood was dripping down my leg wtf I look at my pad in the bathroom and it wasn’t even fully covered it was just blood on the corner  that’s all.

Is this normal I’m 21 years old and this has never happened to me in my life

do you have a heavy flow? that’s probably the reason. i have a heavy flow and every period the same exact thing happens.

This happends to me multiple times on my period like at least once a day and thats tampon In panty liners I just literally have blood clots and tons of blood. Doctor said it's just my heavy flow.

Hi! I saw your comment that you came off of depo not long ago, I have had a lot of heavy bleeding with my cycles since coming off of the depo and getting my cycle back in march of this year. In particular the first period was really heavy, so much so I spoke to my doctor about it. Please don't be alarmed it is totally normal,  just make sure if you are feeling unwell or tired to take some additional rest and relax.
