Anyone work as a physical therapist ???

Question

Does anyone in this group work as a physical therapist and if so when what week did you stop lifting patients . I work in a hospital and usually have a heavy patient caseload .

Also an acute care PT but am lucky to have no lift safe patient handling equipment in all patient rooms which is amazing. Be careful with lifting and have a second person with you basically at all times if patient is potentially heavy. Not worth injuring yourself before baby comes. If necessary, get a note from OB about needing aide. Good luck! Be safe

I am a PT as well but I work in Home Health. I already told them that I won’t be taking any patients that need max assist. I stopped working at 30 weeks as it was getting stressful. Can you get help from PTA’s or student if you are in a SNF.

Work in private practice, mostly sports injuries and spinal so no lifting but am finding it tricky leaning forward with my big belly now! Have to also schedule gaps between patients as can’t spend much time on my feet.

Anyone work as a physical therapist ???
