When did your period come back while bottle feeding?

Hi ladies,
Unfortunately breastfeeding did not work out for me so I have been formula feeding. To my fellow formula feeding mamas, when did your period come back? I’m 6 weeks postpartum tomorrow and I have been having bad lower back pain and period like cramps all day.. wondering if it might be AF.

I'm 6 weeks PP and feel like I could start any minute. Lots of cramping and moodiness. Not looking forward to it. I'm formula feeding too

I had a short period right after my pp bleeding stopped

Usually anywhere from 5-12 weeks if you’re not lactating. If you don’t get it by 12 weeks, you’re doctor might want to do some blood work to see if there’s a hormonal issue or other reason it hasn’t.

Mine came back at 5 weeks pp while I formula fed my second so it more than likely is your period about to happen
