I began a miscarriage on Sunday July 14th, I went for an ultrasound on the 15th and got confirmation that I was miscarrying. I was 8 weeks and 4 days but baby stopped growing around 6 weeks. Shortly after my ultrasound I bled heavily and cramped a ton. There were tons of huge clots, but by that evening I was feeling better and bleeding less. Since then I have bled on and off. Sometimes it’s just spotting sometimes it’s a gush with clots. I have had a god awful lower back ache near my tailbone, and over all don’t feel myself. I am exhausted, not hungry, just feeling off and kind of sad. When using the restroom earlier today I felt as if a clot was going to come out but it just wouldn’t. I felt around quickly with clean hands and noticed my cervix is still pretty open and there’s about a 1.5 inch fleshy structure coming out of the middle of it. Shortly after feeling around I had a blob of pick fleshy discharge, so I felt again and the structure coming out of my cervix was still there.

Could this be part of the fetus/placenta/sac? Is it stuck?

I have an appointment with my OB on Wednesday but will be calling Monday morning. I don’t have a fever or terrible pains or heavy bleeding, does this warrant and ER visit?
