Should I be concerned?
I’m 29 years old and most of my life my exercise routine has been on and off. Some months I would go all in full force, other months I would take it easy and do moderate exercises. This was the case up until the last 5 years. 5 years ago I slowed wayyy down and only have worked out lightly (just to keep moving basically). I was too busy with full time college, 3 kids and a job. This past year I’ve picked things back up and started with a few months of spin class and then I did about 4 days of hard core workouts, lifting and cardio. That stopped after a few months because my schedule changed. But I still worked out at least 3 times a week at home. I do a mixture...one day might be HIIT workout, the next workout would be less intense, and change it up, etc. Recently I had an injury while skiing and afterwards I only did light workouts for about 3 months strait. I finally felt 100% better and was going to join a class that does CrossFit and the next day I found out I was 6 weeks pregnant. I’m just curious on which approach to take. Do I workout lightly since I’ve been doing that for the past 3 months or can I go a little bit more hard and do HIIT workouts but modify them?
