Same Dr's Office, but...They've Changed.

I'm posting anonymously because I don't want anything linked to my Dr's office.

Anyways, my husband and I loved our Dr's office when we were pregnant with our first child which is why we were excited to be back in the same office. The issue isn't with the doctor, but with the receptionist(s). I know it can be busy, but the last receptionist actually returned phone calls and didn't put us on hold every, single, time I called. I'm annoyed at this point because I had a message to relay to my Dr about something we had discussed during my visit, my calls never got returned and I tried calling from noon all the way until they closed at 5PM...5hrs of not getting through. Hopefully, I will have better luck on Monday (this particular situation was Friday). Thankfully, it's not something emergent. Its just frustrating to not feel the same comfort we had before that we could have our calls answered, returned, and feel confident that we could have any questions answered or messages relayed timely. If this was our first child and I was a first time mother, I'd be highly concerned and nervous.
