Chemical Pregnancy?

Hi everyone!

Last month and the month before that me and my partner were trying to get pregnant. After several tries we were looking at home pregnancies tests and I noticed a faded line. At the same time I also noticed I was spotting, my breast were tender, and I had lower back pain. We weren’t sure if I was actually positive so we waited. I remember feeling like I had more cramps and back pain a week or two afterwards, and then we took another test. There were no faded line and it was a clear indication that I was not pregnant. My spotting also stopped. I haven’t had any major cramps or menstrual like symptoms since then. I still haven’t gotten my period, but all the tests I’ve been taking are negative.

Does this possibly mean I could have had a chemical pregnancy? Since I’ve read up that after a miscarriage like that, you don’t get your period until the hormones go back down a certain level.
